Who We Are

Captain Fatty's Tinting & Graphics is a family owned and operated business recently relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina.

 We have been in business for over 7 years for ourselves and have a combined experience of almost 20 years.  We started our own automotive tinting business in 2002 after discovering the usefulness of window film.  We quickly moved from automotive tinting to include residential tinting after discovering the practicality and savings window film can offer.  In fact, after tinting the windows in our own (older) home, we reaped the benefits of a 25% reduction in our cooling bill! That is not to say that every home will see that kind of savings but we would not sell the product if we did not believe in it and use it ourselves.

After a customer approached us to do vinyl graphics on his vehicle, we decided that graphics would be a great avenue to expand into next.  Graphics are such a fun way to personalize any vehicle.  Vehicle lettering and magnetic signs are great ways to advertise your business we added signs and window lettering as well.

 Since then, we have added custom apparel and automotive accessories to our line and we intend to keep expanding to meet all of the needs of our customers.  We love the fact that we can offer a "one stop" shopping experience for the new business in town from vehicle tinting and lettering to t-shirts to signs and banners.
